The Crown Plaza

The Crowne Plaza London Docklands prides itself on offering professional, courteous service in a striking and modern environment. There is a choice of 210 rooms - many with stunning waterfront views - with direct dial telephones, modem point, satellite TV, en suite facilities, air conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities. The Docklands Bar & Grill offers British and European dishes in the Restaurant, Bar and Coffee Lounge throughout the day. An informal Brasserie styled place with an extensive drinks and food menu and views over the Royal Victoria Dock.

Aloft London Excel

The latest addition to the ExCeL London campus is the Aloft London Excel, a four-star, 252-bedroom,The latest addition to the ExCeL London campus is the Aloft London Excel, a four-star, 252-bedroom, business hotel linked to the ICC. Aloft guest rooms feature the brand's signature ceilings of nearly three metres high, oversized windows, roomy walk-in showers and complimentary wireless internet access. Guests can enjoy a drink in the re:mixSM communal lobby area or the wxyzSM bar. In addition, the hotel offers re:fuel by Aloft, a one-stop, 24-hour grab & go food and beverage area. Guests can also enjoy the re:chargeSM fitness centre and splash pool.


Novotel

The Novotel has 257 bedrooms equipped with a double bed, plus a two-seater sofa (which converts into a double bed) or twin beds. All rooms have en suite bathrooms with a bath and separate shower unit. Bedrooms also include a pivoting desk for working or dining, a modem point, direct dial telephone, lap-top sized safe, mini bar, high-speed internet access and satellite TV. The first floor Upper Deck and south facing terraces offer fabulous views of the dock and are perfect for client entertaining or social functions. There is also a rooftop leisure and fitness suite with relaxation area, sauna and steam room for guests to enjoy.


Ramada Hotel & Suites

The 4-star Ramada Hotel & Suites offers 153 guest bedrooms, plus 71 luxurious apartments and a fitness centre. The hotel has a spectacular waterfront setting with stunning views over Royal Victoria Dock. Stresa has wall-to-ceiling windows which span one side of the restaurant, giving wonderful panoramic views over the dock. Complimentary Wi-Fi access is available in both Stresa and the Oval Bar. Following the huge success of TABEXPO 2011 in Prague,  many people are working behind the scenes on TABEXPO 2015 and figuring out how we can continue to make it bigger, better and more relevant to our audience - you!

Selecting the host city for TABEXPO involved many considerations; accessibility, accommodations and their quality and location, a stable infrastructure, reasonable costs and the appeal of the city itself to our well-travelled and international audience. London continues the tradition set by our previous host cities of Vienna, Geneva, Barcelona, Paris and Prague, not just meeting our expectations but exceeding them.

After personal site inspections of the numerous venues available in London, our choice was the ExCeL Centre, by the Royal Docks on the River Thames. It is a large, modern exhibition hall, unimpeded by support pillars. It offers flexibility of space and reasonable rates that we can and will pass along to exhibitors and sponsors of TABEXPO 2015 London. Hotels of every caliber are convenient and numerous. Public transportation on the ground offers "to the door" delivery and multiple international airports provide numerous choices for participants and visitors from all over the globe. This year's Global Tobacco Networking Forum was pronounced a resounding success by delegates, speakers, panelists and organizers alike. Held on board two floating conference ships plying Belgian and Dutch coastal waters, the Forum welcomed 255 delegates for two days of stimulating sessions and networking. Topics ranged from Eliminating Child Labor to Tobacco Control and Policy to Alternative Uses of Tobacco. Prior to the actual Forum, a group of delegates went on a 2-day field trip which took in visits to the European Parliament and Commission.
